Well, it's been a while since we last chatted... and a lot of things have happened. Let's start with why I'm in Boise.

Boise

Well, for those of you following along the Instagram story you'll notice I entered Idaho recently... well, this is actually my second trip here this month. The trip ended in the "bustling city" of Boise... formerly the home of my recently passed grandmother. As I'm here with my bio-family (as opposed to my kink family) I haven't yet had an opportunity to take any Boise pics in hood... but trust me, I'm here, and pictures will follow again sometime soon. My grandmother was an amazing woman who lived a long and very interesting life. I have many many fond memories of her; and I will always be able to know that she was able to live her life exactly as she wished to, right up to her last moments.

The Long Quiet

As some of you may have notices; I've been quiet for quite some time. I haven't been writing my blog posts, I slowed down pictures on Instagram (stopping entirely for about a week following my grandmothers passing) and have almost completely stopped posting new content directly to those special NSFW spaces many of you enjoy.

First of all: Don't worry, I'll be getting back to it soon.

For a few months I've been dealing with a bit of personal drama that's had me a bit thrown off my game. I don't want to go into any details; but, suffice it to say that my INCREDIBLY AMAZING Husband and I are doing just fine; and my chosen family remains intact. However, during these past months; I just hadn't been feeling it and I'm a firm believer in NOT faking it.

If I'm not "feeling it"... or to put it simply, not feeling like taking pictures or making videos or writing or sketching; and then I try to force myself to do that: I'll neither be producing quality content, nor enjoying what I'm doing and these spaces are all about enjoying what I'm doing.

Don't get me wrong; I really enjoy the interactions I'm having with all of you out there in internet-land; it's actually been so much fun getting to chat with all of you amazing people! From literally all over the world! It's actually really humbling and inspiring to follow some of your journeys on the various social platforms and share stories, insights and advice! In fact, it's those of you who've ever sought advice or information from me that's pushed me to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can; just so I can be better! Both better for myself, but also for anyone out there who might come seeking advice one day. I want to be prepared to do my part to give back to the world community and share my own experiences and knowledge when possible!

I've also been becoming a bit busier... especially this past 5 weeks with SEA-PAH business. As the Secretary, my official job is fairly straight forward: keep the notes & documents for the pack... but I've also taken on a leadership spot in co-charing the LEEP Kennel - our name for the education committee (all of our committee's are called Kennels... because puppies... if you don't get it yet, well, google it... lol).

Education for the Pack

First, when I say "The Pack" in terms of SEA-PAH; I'm speaking about the membership of the club... not my own Pack, but the community as a Pack. Just to cut down on confusion that could spring up.

Anyhow, for this month the Kennel was tasked with putting together a Title-Holders Panel for the April Birthday Weekend (April 13-15, 2018... Happy 6th Birthday SEA-PAH!!!). It was a lot of fun, but also a lot of additional work on the side; and literally worth every second spent on it! We managed to pull together 6 amazing title holders in our area and I moderated (for my first time ever) the Panel discussion. We covered everything from running for a title, to winning and representing; and with some insightful audience questions we also covered the experience of loosing and how to work through that. It was an incredible experience; and I look forward to the next big project (currently in pre-production).

The Future

So, what's next for me? Well, as evidenced today on instagram; I'm back at it! I'll be getting back into the swing of daily photos... and I'm going to do my best to get better about sharing even more about my journey with you... I want my story to be fun and interesting to follow; beyond a fun picture. Hopefully you enjoyed the video I did this week on Instagram.... just a bit of Puppy Play with some toys... including one infamous pig that the amazing Debit gave to me... My Alpha said the video was really cute *SO MANY WAGS!*

As for the more sensitive content... I'll begin posting to Tumblr again soon... I may or may not have already generated some new content for that. The xTube channel... well, that's another story. I enjoy producing that content, however, doing so often takes away from the experience of a scene... I have plans for how to combat and work around the challenges in order to better enjoy the experience while capturing more of the scene; but it's going to take time.

GOALS

I have several goals, and I'm going to do my best to stick to them. It's going to be a challenging road; as I have new adventures to consider as well going forward... but here's what I hope to be working toward the rest of this year as I get back into the swing of things:

Return to daily Instagram Posts: 3-5 photos/day
- More like today... the photojournalistic story of my journey
New Tumblr Posts: 2-3 photo sets/week
- This content takes a lot more time to do well, as it involves a lot more photos before a post is ready to go.
Twitter: 2-3 stream-of-thought type posts/week
- This is what twitter is really for... so, I'm gonna give this a try.
Facebook: at least 1 unique post per page each week (Pup Farrstrider Page & Pupper Farrstrider Profile)
- I just want this to become a more interesting space... and interact more with everyone here :-)
Farrstrider Barks - This Blog: x1post/week
- these take a while to write... if I have more to say than 1 post/week, ill give that a go... but I'm gonna set an attainable goal of 1/week for now
The xTube channel: - no goals
- Look, as I mentioned... this content comes with extra challenges to overcome... when things line up to produce the content though; believe me you'll find out
What about YouTube: Launch in the Fall
- I still plan on launching a YouTube Channel... but, I'm gonna try to set a realistic goal for the fall.
  - Look... this is actually, something I take very seriously... and I'm not going to just hit record and bark at my phone and post that to YouTube... ... that's what instagram videos are for (LOL)
    - I'll be working on outlining my ideas for this channel, and then work on building up to producing the content I come up with. This could be as little as once a month to start; it could be more often... it's hard to say as I'm still just working on formulating everything.
  - But... it is coming *wags*
Merch - Launch in the Summer
- I'm working on a few designs for things... and I hope to be launching my very own line of cool Pup things! Keep an eye on the /Shop page, this blog, and all the social channels for an announcement :-)
