Instagrammery

So... let’s have a chat about Instagram 🤨

If you’ve been following on social media... you may have been wondering: “what’s with all the memories posts?”

Well... just last week I posted a selfie to @pupfarrstrider on Instagram, like I do quite often... and went about my work day; I had a very busy day ahead.  Then, a couple hours later I got a message that all of my Instagram links seemed to be broken... said my profile didn’t exist.

I found this odd, and thought I’d first check my Instagram feed, maybe send a screenshot and ask if he was visiting the right links... but, then I opened the app... 😧

What kind of fuckery is this?

Well... on attempting to log into @pupfarrstrider I received a message that I was “suspended for violating community guidelines”...

now, I fully admit that I know about 1/3 of my posts may have pushed the envelope around Instagrams rules... I had some butt cleevage, side butt, even Dick print action going on in some things... but, from my POV, I showed less than the Countless female & male models all over the Instagram world in underwear, swimsuits & less!

So, there was a “learn more” button to figure out what I needed to do to reactivate my account. So, naturally I clicked that... the page loaded, and immediately reloaded, and declared my account had been deleted for violating community guidelines and there was no option to recover.

Im not gonna lie

This was actually very surprising and hurtful... I had never received any notice that something was inappropriate for the Instagram space... had I, I would have happily removed it and moved forward with a new understanding of what to NOT post.

Instagram had become my favorite place to interact with people & Pups from all over the world!  I’ve had countless conversations with so many individuals I wouldn’t otherwise meet... unlike Tumblr which seemed to revolve around horny chat & such (nothing wrong with that) not only that, but it’s nice to have real conversations with people too!

I’d also had the opportunity to discuss Pup with many curious newcomers to the community... offer advice and point them towards resources I found helpful to me when I started out... I also had an opportunity to interact with a few individuals experiencing depression who I was happy to point towards helpful services and share my own experiences with, hopefully I brightened their day when we chatted.

None of this matters to Instagram

Instagram, however, doesn’t seem to care about any of that.  In fact, I’m not even sure they really exist... all attempts to have a conversation with them have been met with walls of silence.

honestly, all I want is a conversation, and perhaps my handle returned to me so that my former followers can find me again, especially the ones I was in the middle of conversations with... which, is the whole purpose of social media, right? To break down the social barriers and allow people from anywhere to interact with anyone?

Anyhow... were almost to the end of our memories postings, reliving last years blog... going forward I won’t be posting photos where I’m less than fully clothed below the waist... but I’m not even sure that’ll keep me from being deleted again.

What I think may have actually happened

I actually think, what really happened was an attack.  I run a public Instagram; because I want to be accessible to others for conversations, and to be available to educate the public about Human Puppies.  I believe I was likely targeted by spam reports, that satisfied Instagrams algorithm for automated suspension & deletion of an account.

Between my photos being stolen and used by others posing as me, and spammers... there’s likely no guarantee this won’t happen again.  All I can do is cross my Paws, and hope that maybe Instagram reaches back someday for a conversation... or, maybe I’ll meet some smarter people and we can create Kinkstergram... the Instagram for Kinksters... *wags*
