Pupspace - Pup Headspace
For me, one of the most important parts of expressing myself as a Pup is through my Pup Headspace... Pupspace.
When I initially began to explore Puppy Play, the idea of the Pup headspace was one of the most attractive features of the Kink for me. I had been searching for an experience that would allow me to “let go” and achieve a meditative state of relaxation.
The first time I was put into Headspace, also my first experience in a hood, I discovered what I’d been looking for and it forever changed me. I had found what I was looking for.
Let me describe my first headspace experience for you:
I was in my Alphas Puppy Play Room, Mosh matts on the floor for comfort. I had been put into a submissive presentation, one the first things my Alpha taught me. Not having my own hood, Gadget had offered to put me in one of his Leather Hoods from Mr-S-Leather, and it was about to happen.
As the hood descended, first over the crown of my head and then past my eyes; an unexpected wave of feeling washed over me. It caught me by surprise, as I hadn’t expected or prepared for what came over me. I began to feel many things, all at once. First, the worries and thoughts of everyday life seemed to wash away... next, a wave of happiness flowed into my thoughts.
I blinked and suddenly I was seeing the world through new eyes. The leather hood fit a little large on my head and I was aware of the edges of the eye sockets, however, I felt differently than I had moments before. I felt... free!
Pupspace is different for everypup:
i had entered into my first moments of Pupspace. For the first time in years, I was able to let go of my self conscious insecurities and just enjoy having some fun playing with friends... I squeaked squeaky toys, wrestled, rolled around and just had a fun care-free time!
Coming out of my first Pupspace experience, I felt refreshed and renewed... but coming out of Pupspace is a story for another time.
My Pupspace is very meditative for me, and has many different levels with ranging ratios of Human to Pup expression. But, that’s my experience. Others have described completely different headspaces in their Pup experience... and headspaces from other kinks and life experiences.
